WASHING MACHINES · JOHANNESBURG REPAIR HELP

Washing machine leaking?

A leak near the door, underneath the cabinet or around a hose connection needs to be described before a repair is planned.

Start with the symptoms.

Note when the leak first appears: while filling, washing, draining or spinning. The timing and visible location can point to different systems and help the technician plan an assessment.

What to send with your enquiry.

Include the model, programme stage and a photo of the visible water path from a safe location. Say whether the machine has recently been moved or connected.

Add your suburb or estate, who can meet the technician and whether the appliance is fitted or freestanding. If a model label is hidden, describe the appliance rather than moving it yourself.

A safe boundary.

Pause operation and keep people clear of wet electrical areas. Do not continue washing to reproduce a suspected leak or pull out a heavy appliance yourself.

What the assessment should clarify.

An error code or symptom points the conversation in a useful direction, but it does not establish the faulty part. The assessment should explain what work is recommended and whether components are available for the actual model.

Confirm the assessment or call-out charge before booking. Discuss the repair quote, any parts order, further visit and applicable cover before approving work. Send an email enquiry or a WhatsApp message through this website; the team confirms appointments directly.

Repair or replace?

Compare the proposed work with the appliance’s overall condition and the cost of a suitable replacement. Include delivery and fitting in that comparison. For a relatively small fault, an assessment may reveal a practical repair; extensive damage or unavailable parts can change the decision.
